About us

On January 11, 2019, MG Keeping Trust LLC was formed in Miami, Florida. Dr. Nemer Tarraf is the sole owner of the Company and will serve as its Chief Executive Officer. The Company is located at 28 W Flagler Street in Miami, Florida. Since it will offer online rehabilitation services, the Company will reach patients in all areas of the U.S., including those living in remote, rural areas whose access to rehabilitation is limited.

Under the direction of Dr. Tarraf, MG Keeping Trust LLC will offer an effective solution that will allow patients suffering from different conditions and recovering from a range of diseases to be rehabilitated through personalized classes and remote supervision. Dr. Tarraf’s solution, named DAITAR, was created by employing innovative technology resources, such as artificial intelligence, virtual reality, and cloud computing.
VR rehabilitation as part of telemedicine solutions has several advantages compared to traditional rehabilitation. First, considering our society’s continuing need for social distancing, therapy can be given at a distance. Second, VR allows therapists to treat patients simultaneously. While therapists must monitor sessions at a distance in some cases, live support is generally not required, increasing patients’ autonomy and reducing the workload of therapists.

Other telemedicine solutions, such as video calls and therapy by videos or games on a flat screen, offer (some) similar advantages. What makes VR particularly different is that it provides its users with a 3D immersive environment. The immersion makes therapy more fun and reduces distraction from the external environment. Both might increase therapy adherence and engagement. Besides, VR may serve to distract patients from experiencing fatigue and anxiety, which would otherwise hinder their ability to move. In addition, VR offers extensive tools compared to other telemedicine services that allow therapists through the use of a dashboard and tracking software to constantly monitor treatment adherence and patients’ performance.

DAITAR

MG Keeping Trust LLC will offer DAITAR to patients at their homes as well as at medical facilities. DAITAR is a user-friendly solution and allows patients to use it without difficulties. DAITAR only requires the use of an internet connection in order to be accessed. Therefore, the reach of the DAITAR solution offered by MG Keeping Trust LLC will be extensive. This is extremely relevant, as various patients based in remote, rural areas do not have access to rehabilitation programs. Major rehabilitation centers are usually located in urban areas, and even basic therapeutic services are often not available for patients living in rural areas.
The rehabilitation programs offered by MG Keeping Trust LLC will help patients improve, maintain, and restore their physical conditions in institutional and home care settings. The goal of the Company is to allow patients to learn how to care for themselves, maintain a high level of health that avoids secondary complications, and reintegrate themselves into the community.

DAITAR – Diagnostic Artificial Intelligent Treatment Assistance Rehabilitation
DAITAR is a solution developed with the use of artificial intelligence and virtual reality to help clients in their medical rehabilitation processes. The main reason why Dr. Tarraf decided to implement this solution is to promote greater accessibility of rehabilitation treatments to patients with a range of medical, physical, and psychosomatic conditions. The purpose is to ensure access to quality healthcare for people. Dr. Tarraf’s vision is for the project to be recognized as a differentiated and modern solution in health management, ensuring excellence in treatment. Dr. Tarraf’s goal is to reduce hospital time for patients and provide safe home assistance.

Other goals Dr. Tarraf will achieve include patients having minimized loss of muscle strength due to immobility, reduction of pain due to immobility, improved balance, sensory stimulation, cognitive improvement, delirium prevention, and motivation in performing exercises. The patients will use 3D Glasses, a mobile device with access to the mobile data network, cycle ergometer, balls, sticks, and sensitive devices.
DAITAR works as a platform set up in a cloud that can be accessed through the internet. With DAITAR, patients are given easy access to medical rehabilitation services. DAITAR makes use of virtual reality to manage the unique challenges and progress of each patient. The DAITAR platform is constantly personalized through data from each patient.

The more data is entered, the more accurate the virtual reality tools manage scenarios in order to customize and increase the success of treatments. DAITAR also works with augmented reality for certain diagnoses and implements virtual reality.

DAITAR is a solution that is well suited for patients suffering from neurologic, cardiologic, orthopedic, and pulmonary conditions and diseases, among others. The solution can be used by patients in their homes as well as in medical facilities.

Neurology

DAITAR offers programs that improve patients’ neurologic conditions, such as those suffering from Alzheimer’s, by creating games and scenarios that contribute to slowing down the evolution of diseases. Through data collected by artificial intelligence tools, DAITAR is able to create scenarios that are fully customized according to each patient’s life and reality.

Cardiology

Through specific features, DAITAR offers physical and stretching activities for patients with functional limitations after a heart attack, heart surgery, or even severe conditions following heart failure episodes. Artificial intelligence tools allow the creation of activities according to each patient's preferences through the collection of data.

Orthopedics

DAITAR also provides solutions for the rehabilitation of patients after spinal surgery and other types of interventions through specific exercises according to each patient’s needs. DAITAR features a fully customizable avatar that interacts with patients. Through this form of interaction, the patients receive guidance and advice on how to overcome their main difficulties. A virtual reality tool allows DAITAR to show the angulations of patients’ movements to promote their rehabilitation.

Pulmonary

To provide patients with pulmonary rehabilitation, a demand that has become even more important in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, DAITAR offers respiratory physiotherapy mechanisms to patients, promoting improvement in the respiratory patterns. It is known that the COVID-19 virus can leave many sequelae in patients after the period of contagion and clinical improvement has passed, with the lungs being one the most affected organs. As a result, medical practitioners offering consultations must adapt to the new scenario.
